That gingerbread house tasted much better that way- Because for once we wont get in trouble for picking on the gingerbread house. You won't even notice when candy is missing! Love your son, Lucas
Savannah took all the pictures that were not of her. We had more fun thinking of how to make a new story for our blog. The original story was going to be a brag story about my cute little family making a cute little gingerbread house. The real story turned out to be, first- only Savannah wanted to help, second- I piped all the frosting, which killed the house, especially since I got it from a kit and ran out of it. No way to repair the thing. So the thought that popped into my head was, "oh well, shoot! I guess you will just have to eat the thing- next thought- "let's get pictures!" Aha! How dramatic can we be. I cracked myself up as we took pictures, but most of all when I posted my pictures, mainly because I had to figure out the story backwards. When you do that many photos, it aint easy, especially if your computer will only let you load the old fashioned way on your blog. PS, I did "let" Savannah add the candy to the gingerbread house- though I may have told her where to put every piece...I wonder why the boys didn't want to help.
I have a great title for your story. . ."Hansel and Gretel meet blogland".
Pretty funny. It is the best when you crack yourself up while posting. Good way to get the kids involved. Apparently they loved it and will probably never forget it.
That was so funny. No feer using a kit....I would never do that...wink wink. At least you had pictures of it before you ate it so that you had proof that you did something so special with your cute little family.
You don't know me from anybody so don't get weirded out I read your blog, but I'm a friend of Tamster if that gives me any credibility. I'm a pastry chef/mom. Loved more than words can describe the coolness of your pictures. That is what it is all about...not making the house but making the memory! You GO GIRL!!

Judging by the size of my last comment, maybe I was wrong to call this "the story with no words"...
You made my day. A good belly laugh is a great way to start a snowy winter day. WoW

Well, heck, if you can't enjoy looking at it, you may as well enjoy something about it! Was it good? :-)
