$17,000,000 + so far this Dec 16th!!! (raised this quarter, that is, including more than 6 mil just today) What a great day for freedom, liberty, and our great God-given constitution!! I feel like celebrating, but as you can see, maybe not everyone feels that way...
This seems like a good photo of how the Media and the "other chosen" presidential candidates might be feeling after another record breaking show of support for Ron Paul via a Dec. 16 money haul of 6 million $$$ so far in less than 24 hours! One hour still to go...And this would pretty much describe how I am feeling right now, along with over 200 thousand donors so far this fundraising quarter.
Here's hoping they stop ignoring him sometime soon...

As of midnight, he stands at just under 18 mil for the quarter and I think around 6.3 mil for the day. I guess I can go to bed now. I really must be over the top- I have been following this thing a lot today, and to be up at this hour is pure crazy- I dont know if I'll be able to sleep though. If I do though it will be with visions of online Ron Paul graphs dancing in my head!

Funny pics! So the 24-hour period was in eastern time zone? That means the west-coasters only had until 9 pm. I wonder if anyone foreign ever donates to US politicians. Glad you finally got to bed. :-) Tami
Yes, there were a lot of donations from US citizens overseas including lots of military. I saw one come up from Tokyo.
I never like my teeth, and that is why I chose these for my photo op.

WOW!! How is the media getting away with not giving him any attention? Has this ever happened with a presidential candidate before?
This is gonna sound "looney" but it seems like they "annoint" there chosen ones, and forcefeed them to us, while keeping us from choosing those deemed unworthy. He is gonna be on Glenn Beck for a full hour on Tues evening on cnn or hnn though. If there are other news stories, the best place to find links to them is on the ronpaul address I have here on my blog. At least we dont get our info only from one source now, meaning the mainstream media, we can get info now through the internet. This is completely different than those in power are used to, I am not quite sure they know how to stop the momentum, except to ignore it and hope the masses continue to remain apathetic.

Finally, Glen Beck??? Wow, Glen has not spoken kindly of him! How did that come about? I will be recording the show as I usually do so it will be interesting to see how Glen treats him. I hope he gives him a fair chance!! If he doesn't do well in the New Hampshire, Iowa caucasus, how can someone in his posistion win? I am new to polotics so just curious. Would it be that he has enough support that when it came to the acctual election day, he could win because of how well he has done in general? Hope that makes sense!
You have to remember that the polls are not accurate as Sharon, Myself, and Joe all found out firsthand when we were polled by phone and had no option to vote for Ron Paul. Also, he has people on board from accross the spectrum, dems, repubs, idependants, libertarians, constitutionalists, and people who have never voted or been registered to vote. When the polling is done, it is among resgistered, likely republican voters. Nobody has any clue about how much support he really has, and I think it can be gaged by how many donations he has.
