New Years Resolutions

Why my mommy told
me I should never
smoke!
OK, so I don't have a regular smoking habit, but do I really get to say I respect and take care of my health any better than this poor lady? Here we are at the beginning of a new year, and I think it is time to get back to my resolution from the beginning of last year, (and the year before, etc...) and give this body some tender loving care. ( Just a figure of speech, as we all know that running, spinning, lunges, are not exactly tender or loving)! Anyway, I encourage you all to be good to your bodies this year, and remember what your mommy taught you, too!

Procrastination

Here is the reaction I am hoping my kids don't have on Christmas morning- So far Santa has been a little absent on behalf of my children this year. Blogging will have to wait if Santa is going to keep his good reputation intact!!

If my own good reputation is going to remain intact as well, I better hop to it. As you can see, there are no presents under the tree... Happy shopping everyone!

Freedom is on it's way!

$17,000,000 + so far this Dec 16th!!! (raised this quarter, that is, including more than 6 mil just today) What a great day for freedom, liberty, and our great God-given constitution!! I feel like celebrating, but as you can see, maybe not everyone feels that way...

This seems like a good photo of how the Media and the "other chosen" presidential candidates might be feeling after another record breaking show of support for Ron Paul via a Dec. 16 money haul of 6 million $$$ so far in less than 24 hours! One hour still to go...

And this would pretty much describe how I am feeling right now, along with over 200 thousand donors so far this fundraising quarter.
Here's hoping they stop ignoring him sometime soon...

MEMORIES

Hey Ya'll,
I was just wandering down memory lane today and thought I would share
some family photos from over the years. Here are a couple of pictures of Dad and
Mom.

And we cant forget the adorable baby pics of Paul, Michael, and Jeremy.

Shauna, Wendy, and Bonnie's photos sure bring a reminiscing tear to my eye.

I really enjoyed these of Sharon, Susie, and Amberlee. My sisters are so lovely!
This post would not be complete if I didnt include myself, so here I am!

Didnt you all enjoy your trip down memory lane with me?!

How Does She Do It?

That awesome sister of mine--how does she do it? She goes around waving her magic blog wand and whala, I have this beautiful new baby. She is so cute--meaning my twin, and the blog baby is pretty adorable too! She truly is a woman of many talents. I just don't know how she finds the time to be a great mother, sister, friend and blog mentor to so many of us. Lorena (blog mentor to Pineapple Princess) would be so proud.

I offered her any one of my children, but she has decided she would rather have a round trip ticket to visit us in the flesh. I can haaaaaardly wait (southern drawl accentuated.) Think how much blogging we can do. How about if you all come? Katie said she will pay for anyone who wants to come.

Make sure you leave her lots of comments so she knows you are aware of her hard work. Plus, isn't it wonderful to hear from one of the last hold outs?! Now who are the only 3 left again?

Hey ya'll, southernmother is now blogging. This is still in the works, so I'm testing, testing, 1 2 3, testing...
